Well . . . we've only been around a couple hundred years so it may be a bit early for longterm trend analysis, eh?
Based off two data points.

There's sub revolutions to the main revolutions, what we would call Quiet Revolutions here amongst the red and green maples, New Deal, Great Society, Civil Rights, Dot.Com, 9/11, etctera

Does the civil-rights unrest count? Because otherwise, we're about 50 years off...
It's like the Second Amendment and guns, there was already a revolution, from the 1994 AWB on, that incited revolutionary change, the gun culture exploded to a whole nother level which Americans prior to this revolution would be like "WTF?!"

Not all revolutionary change is effected by a massive war, for example, the Soviet Union fell to a revolution, not quite nary a shot fired, but pretty much for all intents and purposes.
Bear in mind, Eisenhower said in confidence "if I send federal troops into the South I would be inciting a second Civil War", but turned out, not so much actually.
And now Robert E. Lee can't even find a place to piss in Dixie, and for the most part, nobody cares.
Also should point out, the most consequential revolution in modern history, no, not the American Revolution, no, not the French Revolution neither, but the Glorious Revolution of 1688; William of Orange won that one, nary a shot fired, just used a printing press and handed out some flyers, basically.

You'd rather a few hundred families rake in billions upon billions than telling them they've had enough. Every religious tradition, and moral teaching around the world warn against the excesses of hording wealth. You call this advice socialism. I call your love of greed a sin. I guess we should just kill each other and find out whose camp is left standing afterwards.
Don't be offended by the following question
I predict you are resentful of your place in the economic dominance hierarchy. True or false?
Dont Jordan Peterson me. I'm good, i've watched his lectures on Personality and Maps of Meaning. I agree resentment isn't a good resourceful emotion. I also know even Peterson isn't opposed to change, revolution, or new order. That's what the "open" and "creative" people are for. Its always a balancing act. Too much order or too much chaos is a bad thing. Its out of alignment theres too much accumulation and control of resources by a few families/conglomerates. He doesn't offer a solution but he acknowledges it can be a "problem". And a problem needs a solution. The Status Quo aint it bucko. Time for a course correction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTJRGHsrYhY (Please watch the entire 5 minutes/ Pay attention to everything he says)
There are times to flip the board.
Why do all the betas want to burn it down when they are the ones getting buried when we revert to barbarism? Do you think Charles the Hammer has time for your cat tattoos and your pumpkin spice frappacino habit?
I mean.. What the fuck?
There's no more video games once you cross that bridge. No more safe spaces. No more larger men keeping you safe from the bad guys. No safety of any kind you don't secure for yourself or contribute towards securing in your community. That means militia and fighting. Are you prepared for the consequences of this?
