You can't deny that (on the street level), the left does value empathy and fairness, and oppose human suffering. It's actually far more "Christian" in nature than the Right. However, they've been twisted into a victim culture.

The Right, meanwhile, does value personal freedom and responsibility. However, they've been twisted into some sort of dark caricature of those ideals - espousing the virtue of violence and fate as manifested by economic status. It's a sort of dark fatalism that's ultimately self-defeating.

Has the Left fetishized gunplay and fistfighting as a means to end all personal disputes? Which side is laser-focused on gun rights? I only ever see that from the Right. And I always see it from the Right, sooner or later.
