Think so. Basically someone who's job is to keep digging until he finds something that sticks. Levin actually had a good article on it hang on

“The Democrats got what they wanted,” said Mark Levin of the news that a special counsel has been appointed to investigate the Trump team over Russia allegations, later adding that “the media in Washington are wetting themselves.”

The Conservative Review editor-in-chief made the remarks on his Wednesday evening radio program just hours after news initially broke that ex-FBI director Robert Mueller had been appointed to the task.

“Now we will have a prosecutor focused wholly and solely on one matter,” Levin explained, “which is an aberration; that’s not how prosecutors are supposed to function.”

But yet there will be no such treatment of the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton's numerous scandals, Levin pointed out, listing off several that never rose to the level of a special counsel in the eyes of the Obama Justice Department and none that will be addressed by this latest development.

The GOP leadership is a bunch of fucking CUCKS - they want their boy Pence to move to the top. I will not be voting anyone on the GOP ticket for a long time....I don't care anymore if it means a DNC candidate may win a local seat....I want the GOP destroyed.

We should all want the GOP and the DNC destroyed

Always vote third party, and at the very least, always vote against the incumbent regardless of party

Special Counsel is the position Patrick Fitzgerald held for the Valerie Plame investigation.

Ken Starr was an Independent Counsel, which is no longer in use since the expiration of the provision in that law in 1999.

The roles are slightly different in their authority, independence, and hierarchy. Special Prosecutor will be in charge of the FBI investigation, and report to the Deputy Attorney General (since the Attorney General has recused himself).

Mueller is probably the most qualified person in America to fill this role, I have no doubt he will run a thorough investigation, and hope that his conclusions will be accepted regardless of politics.

Here's DAG "Hot Rod" Rosenstein's order appointing a special counsel.

Now that my optimism for Trump is gone (not completely), smothering him from actually doing anything is probably a good thing. He did stop Gobalization. He will appoint conservative Supremes. He will make it difficult for jobs to leave the U.S. He will reduce regulation, some of which is bad. And he will let the deficit increase.

p.s. I'm of the opinion that The Collapse will occur during his presidency, so stopping him from making things worse before that is a good thing.

Yeah I agree with that Martin. The collapse that you speak of will make 08-09 look like a walk in the park.

Collapse won't come until the Feds can't float bonds....that's going to take a while (10-15 yrs) IMHO - unless you mean tribal based civil unrest.

I've got a podcast coming up, "Economic Cycles," where I contend that collapses come when the system has been gamed in so many ways that it becomes fragile, and ANYTHING at ANYTIME can take it down.

p.s. Deficits aren't bad for economies that control their own money.
