Joe won the mythical national championship in 1977 as well. Notre Dame beat No. 1 Texas in the Cotton Bowl. ND was 11-1 that year; any of you smart cookies know who the one loss was to?

Only one QB has won Superbowl as the starter with different teams, Peyton Manning. Earl Morrill won superbowls with different teams was the starter during the season but was yanked in the playoffs.
