They are not going to vote for him in the primary. I am surrounded by democrats. I am telling you, they won't vote for him.

Also, conflating primary dynamics with the general election is silly. Of course they will vote for the dem nominee and not Trump. That is irrelevant to the primary outcome itself.

Dems are not going to vote for a repeat. The DNC does not even have the superdelegate power they had in 2016 to steal the nomination from the electorate.

I'll have to take your word for it. The way the press is treating Biden is very reminiscent of how they treated HRC. They are clearly saying Biden is the guy. Dems were split on that forced feeding in the '16 primary.

Who do you think they will vote for ? Because I can't see anyone standing out.

More apropos: it is the same way they treated ¡Jeb!

Biden is the dem Jeb.

Brit Hume's assessment is Biden is a walking time-bomb

Hume said, "I like Biden on a personal basis, but I think he is a walking time-bomb. I think his age is an issue, I’m the same age as he is, my age is an issue, I think his is too... the filters don’t work as well, the memory isn’t as sharp.

"You might blurt out things as he did the other day when he said China is no competitor of ours. Now, I can kind of get where he was coming from on that, meaning you know we are the best and nobody can beat us. But that’s not how it came out and that is not how he said it.

"He is gaffe-prone and always has been and I don’t think that he’s less-so now. He’s got a lot of strengths, he’s got a huge body of sympathetic support in the party, and he’ll be able to raise money. He’ll be in this, but it’s a high-wire act and I’m not sure he can make it."

***

Gaffe-prone is a polite way of saying idiot.

As a matter of pure speculation, assuming Biden will eventually destroy himself, who will be able to step and grab the torch for the Dems ?

Hillary won the popular vote, superdelegates did not win her the primary. StA believes the bubble he lives in is representative of reality, and the Democrats he knows are the Democrat base, but he's just delusional and you should not take his word for it. The Dems will vote for Biden, and far-left who don't like him, aren't the majority of Dem primary voters, not even close.

This Biden is done nonsense, is pure anecdotal projection on his part, obvious frontrunner is obvious.

Nonetheless, the far left might not vote for him, and even if they are only 8% of the Democratic base losing that 8% would be a problem for them.

With all these states jumping on the "award our delegates to the national popular vote winner" I wonder how that will stand if they alienate the far left and Trump wins the popular vote in 2020?

Biden will lose to Trump, but by a smaller margin than any far-left candidate. Going far-left is good for tanking, which would be my advise to Democrats, tank and regroup in 2024.

I don't see any serious contenders. I believe Trump will win but how he could get a more narrow margin than previously is really pushing the limits. He lost a large portion of his base that was motivated and very high energy.

I no longer care who wins. I think this thing is a complete shit show now. I just want to throw my prediction in the ring: Trump 2020 equals war with Iran. I honestly believe he is going to out neocon the neocons and he will sell it as nationalism, despite the fact he has been anything but.

Best case scenario, him and his entire family gets hit by a meteor or comet.

Fuck I hate this sleazy conman so much .....

Mayor Buttbuddy is the perfect type of Dem candidate for them to fall in love with.
They view him as young, energetic, well spoken, intelligent, he gets SJW points, and he's a relative unknown.

And being in the Jeb position is a good position 4/5th of the time. The democratic elites, the media, I repeat myself, the dem campaign consults, the global elitist all want a return to normalcy. The far left have painted themselves into a corner they have bought the "Trump isn't normal." line but they have their own crazy they cant get a leash on. Biden can fuck this up, in fact I think he most likely will fuck it up, but it's not a bad place to start from.
