They never should have gone in, in the first place

if they did go in, boots on the ground was a bad plan

don't need boots on the ground to level the place
America should have just stayed in after America went in, in 1979

once the Soviets were driven out, America could have used influence to keep a lid on the place

but once America dumped it, and it imploded, then America should not have charged back in

mind you, there is a middle way, which is stand off and strike from the sea as necessary

if ISIS for example masses on the battlefield, you can go ahead and bomb them, but no reason to do more
I like the middle way

best of both worlds

isolationism and policeman of the world

just have too many downsides

with not enough upside

never get off the boat ftw

if America was gonna stay in

1979 was the time to do it

not post 9/11

that's true

America can also leverage the situation by leveraging Pakistan to keep a lid on the place

if Pakistan doesn't play ball, America can throw her power behind India

if Pakistan then turns to China, that's actually better, then America can really stick it to the Pakistanis

India is the democracy, five times the size and tens times as rich as Pakistan, so it's a win-win for America

yeah

America supporting India is a no brainer

If China sides with Pakistan

that will just piss India off

and drive them into America's arms

that's a lot of winning, right thurr

Don’t underestimate that Potato, Biden’s ability to fuck things up.
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

Taliban is being benevolent, they have all these people trapped and surrounded and are letting them leave.

No Doubt.

But I don't believe the military in intel community for a second when they claim they warned Biden. The decision to leave Bagram AFB in the dark of night was not a Biden decision, that was clearly a military decision backed by Intel.

What may have happened is the military and Intel Community fought for Biden to completely ditch the Trump pull out and double down on Afghanistan, when Biden just moved the date to September they said, OK Fucker, we are going to teach you a lesson.

Khairullah Khairkhwa, Taliban leader in Kabul

We had him in GiTMo, but BHO swapped him for US Army deserter Bo Bergdahl.

indeed, Biden is a power vacuum unto himself

but if America had a CinC with a strategic vision

there is massive leverage America can exploit with no boots on the ground

to a certain extent Trump was this sort of CinC

he was exploiting actual American power, against China, or NATO, or South Korea, even Canada

again, this is why I find Trump to be the best option available in the face of the Bidencrat power vacuum

whatever flaws Trump might have, became irrelevant is the face of the exponentially more flawed alternative

Who knew the Afghans would hate us for demanding that 10% of their military be women, and even more of their government be ran by women.

It's no wonder this thing collapsed faster than Jussie Smollets fake racial attack.
