This is the clincher with respect to her testimony:

That's the system you and your swinging dick operate under. It may be unjust, but it should be applied equally to all participants in society. If you made these statements to the government, and the witnesses you named contradicted you, they'd charge your y-chromosome having ass. You better believe that.

I just watched/listened to about 10 minutes of this and can't take anymore. It's sickening how the Democrats constantly praise Ford and ramble on about it. The Republicans are idiots. Their prosecutor wastes time asking continually asking about who is paying for the polygraph. WTF cares about that? Ford conveniently acts dumbfounded by any other questions asked to her by the prosecution. Smells like a tactic they coached her on. Anything other than certain specifics about the incident and she turns into the innocent, ignorant wallflower that is being hounded by the mean prosecutor.pineapplemike wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 10:01 amWell, I've definitely rolled my eyes a few times during her testimony. Where is Brett, is he not testifying too? For some reason I thought they would both be there, going back and forth. That would have been more entertaining, seems like they should hash this out themselves. Involving the entire country, and lawyers, and the media, and congressmen, all the way up to the president in this alleged affair from so long ago just seems silly to me.
I could never be a senator. I'd have gone off in a rage about this dumbassery about 2 minutes in. The Dems constantly needle and poke while the GOP act like fools.

There are rumors they had a Gorsuch letter too, and this one was just adapted from it.
Still trying to find more sources for this, but it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out true.

Details? A letter accusing him of sexual assault? Wonder why that never came up during his confirmation. Are you implying the Democrats have these lined up for other nominees too?Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 11:13 amThere are rumors they had a Gorsuch letter too, and this one was just adapted from it.

That's the rumor, but it was alleged to come out right now during the hearings and it did not.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 11:19 amDetails? A letter accusing him of sexual assault? I cannot find much corroborating this, though.
I think they had to have planned this for Gorsuch too, but something changed their minds. I suspect they got word from Kennedy that he would retire.

I'll say yes. Now they have a sobbing face to place to all of this. That will be more than enough to get most of the "squishy middle" people to side with her. Prepare for a growing onslaught of "men are pigs" from all angles. Just being a hetero man now makes you a rapist.
They dismissed her, so she's done testifying. I only saw some of the after lunch parts, but what a waste of time. She got to tell her side in sobbing fashion (from what I read) and the prosecution did jack to defend Kavanaugh. I've heard better prosecutions in 10 minutes on talk radio.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
Senators need to just come out and openly state this is all lies and bullshit. They are too chickenshit of women to do it, even though probably most women in America are fucking sick and tired of leftist women speaking for all of them with this batshit.
And then you know probably all of them are too afraid to demand prosecution. Just like we saw in here, you have a large number of men that are totally afraid to do fucking anything about women's lying to destroy men.
