Do most states not have "resource officers" in their high schools? VA and NC do.

I don't really understand the resistance to police officers in schools. Every high school I went to had at least one. If you're going to cram thousands of people into a small area, it just makes sense to have a cop on duty.

Sheriff Tim Cameron said Gaskill, 34, covered “significant ground” rushing to the sound of gunfire and engaged the shooter, firing one round while the gunman “simultaneously” fired a shot as well. While it isn’t clear if Gaskill’s bullet stopped the shooter, the gunman was fatally wounded in the confrontation. Gaskill was unharmed.

The man was also commended for bravery in the past for talking down an armed gunman. Maybe we should clone this guy.

Can I get a group of kids to walkout of school in protest of abortion or is that not right think?

I think now you can on the schools that allow walk outs for leftist causes.

I can be more supportive of student free speech, but for so many years the government has crushed high school free speech in the name of order. (I just hope this new exception isn’t reserved solely for “government do more stuff” speech.)
