For if you turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations remaining among you and make marriages with them, so that you associate with them and they with you, know for certain that the Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations before you, but they shall be a snare and a trap for you, a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good ground that the Lord your God has given you.

Clearly Christians have outlived their usefulness. All hail the new God same as the old God.

And no. I have no fond predilection for humanity expiring on a mountainside while praising the sun, covered in feces and more naked than the apes they killed. Fucking giant circle jerk waiting for the end is all this doomsday cult has become while once it was a noble force for humanity that staved off a less civilized society. Now it's just inviting the barbarians in and mumbling at their feet about God, or what they think of him. Useless.

Re: Literal Odds and Ends
For married men of the Great Depression their dynamic family roles changed immensely. After the stocks crashed men were forced out of jobs and contributed significantly to the high unemployment rate in America. With men being out of work, unable to find jobs, many took to the streets to find some source of employment, often disappointed when the abundance of work was very low. In order to feed their families, many men stood in bread and soup lines which offered free food until supplies ran out. Often this was the only way men were able to feed their families. Wives and children had to go to work since their husbands couldn't find jobs. This brought on feelings of failure and uselessness for men as they felt as though they could no longer take care of their loved ones. Some men left their families and headed west in search of a new life.
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
You never change your socks
And the little streams of alcohol
Come trickling down the rocks
The brakemen have to tip their hats
And the railroad bulls are blind
There's a lake of stew
And of whiskey, too
You can paddle all around 'em
In a big canoe
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
