Diplomats Sound the Alarm as They Are Pushed Out in Droves ~NYT
Bill Miller, the cabinet agency's chief of security, seemed to be the kind of official Tillerson would want to keep around -- at least in theory.
But in his first nine months in office, Mr. Tillerson turned down repeated and sometimes urgent requests from the department's security staff to brief him, according to several former top officials in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Finally, Mr. Miller, the acting assistant secretary for diplomatic security, was forced to cite the law's requirement that he be allowed to speak to Mr. Tillerson.
Mr. Miller got just five minutes with the secretary of state, the former officials said. Afterward, Mr. Miller, a career Foreign Service officer, was pushed out, joining a parade of dismissals and early retirements that has decimated the State Department's senior ranks.
The picture painted by the Times is alarmingly bleak. Senior Foreign Service officers are leaving in droves; career diplomats and civil servants are being bought out; and Tillerson and his team have forced many to resign "by refusing them the assignments they wanted or taking away their duties altogether."
In some cases, some diplomats returning from high-level assignments, have been ordered to "spend months performing mind-numbing clerical functions beside unpaid interns."
The CFPB awarded GMMB a $14.7 million contract for “agency media and resource communication,” in June of 2017 and a $16 million payday to marketing materials about student loans and mortgages.
While the amount revealed pales in comparison to what is really ‘under the hood,’ it’s important to remember the CFPB’s activities are shrouded in mystery. Perhaps, not for long if the Trump administration gets its way.
Meanwhile, Leandra English, the deputy director of the government body, has sued the Trump administration to block the appointment of Mick Mulvaney as interim director of the CFPB.
On Monday, English’s attorney Deepak Gupta, discussed the lawsuit against the Trump administration, reported The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft.
When asked by the CNBC hosts who is paying him to represent Leandra English Gupta stuttered for two minutes dodging the question.
first thing out of Mulvaney's mouth at the press conference is all the "funds" and piles of money the CFPB seems to have out of thin are are really fucking suspicious and he will be stopping all money going in and out for 30 days
I can't wait to read (not on CNN or MSNBC obviously) the insane money laundering schemes Barry and Lizzy have been running out of the CFPB for the last several years.

“When in trouble in the Congress or the Russian investigation, his go-to targets are President Obama and me, and African Americans.”
Hillary Rodham Clinton was talking about President Trump’s favorite rhetorical punching bags. And when it comes to his focus on her, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee is clear on why she thinks that is. “He’s a little obsessed with me,” Clinton told me in the latest episode of “Cape Up,” “but I think it’s partly his own ego because he knows I got more votes and he knows that there are questions about the election that deserve answers.”

"You were here a long time before we were... except for Elizabeth Warren... who we call Pocahantas".
That was classic Trump... basically insulting everyone...
So much for honouring the veterans... this is the Trump Show!
So if you call out Pocahantas, that undoes all the honoring of the veterans?
I'm sure that's the way the media is rolling on this one, but come one guys, they are falling for yet another trap set by Trump. They can't help themselves, they have to solely focus on that aspect of the meeting to exclusion of everything that happened during it, and Trump knows that, and baited them into that response, so he can easily point out just how biased the media is.
If you are honouring Native Americans at a ceremony.... and you then make a joke out of their heritage to play to your base... that is an insult to those you are supposed to be honouring.
At that point you are not honouring Native American veterans.

The doofus is in power because we hate politicians.
You’d think the media would’ve picked up on that by now and stopped screaming “Trump is a doofus” at the top of their lungs every day.
We know.
He’s a boorish, thin skinned, egotistical, douchebag. That’s why America elected him ... because our only alternative was a lifelong politician.
It’s not that we don’t see how bad Trump is. It’s that the media and the political establishment don’t see how bad they are, and therefore can’t fathom that a raging man-child might be an improvement over four more years of the same shit.

This has become so obvious you can hear it starting to be said every once in a while in the MSM.

He made a joke out of Elizabeth Warren's heritage, not theirs, and just because he made a joke that wasn't honoring Native Americans doesn't mean he didn't honor them before and after the joke. Focusing on only the joke out of the entire ceremony, to "prove" that Trump wasn't honoring Native Americans, that is partisan hackery. Just because a tiny portion of the meeting was devoted to an Elizabeth Warren joke doesn't mean he's dishonoring the veterans, get a grip.
