Seattle still waaaaaay freer than Canada.
Come to a gun show and see.
;)
I don't care that much about guns tho.

I have more than enough firepower, Remington 870 Express Tactical is all purpose.
Nice, but not great for tight-quarters.
It's no problem for me. I used to do CQB with a FN FAL, so no problemo at all.

But I also have the restricted firearms license, and the Canadian AR15.

I would trade that in, if they would just let me smoke on a patio again.

I live out in the boonies, so nobody ever bothers me here anyways.

I lock my doors because I am from Toronto, but I don't actually need to out here.

I am a nighthawk. I am the neighborhood watch.

There is no criminal activity going on in this neighborhood, at all. It's dead quiet.

Not confident your decades old used-to FAL training would prevail over a coked up home invader with a highly maneuverable Glock.
/shrug

I’d give you better odds if you also had a pistol.

It's not about the gun, it's all about the shooter.

I like my chances against any civilian criminal with a gun.

I could kill him with a knife in fact, I was a Reconnaissance Patrolman, I know how to kill people in the dark.

I’d give you better odds with the knife than the shotty, close quarters. Especially stairwells or corners.

I mean, I get angry.

I have an infantryman's anger management problem.

The issue is more restraining myself from chopping peoples heads off with an entrenching tool.

I've got to be one of the most dangerous persons in Canada, at close quarters in the dark.

Because you’re half-American, probably.

There's no safety in battle. You close with and destroy. If you die, you die.

There are no guarantees at close quarters in the dark, aggression will carry the day, or it won't

The Hockey Gods will decide, either they give you the bounces or they don't.

Control is an illusion.

Aggression can get you to the objective, but it doesn't actually alter the odds.

Who lives, who dies, in battle, is random. Shit happens, you never see the one that gets you.

The main thing is just not to have children.

If you don't have children, you have no fear.

Everybody's gotta die sometime, shit happens.

If you don't have to worry about burying your own children; no worries.
