Fun fact, a real noose has 13 wraps and there are 13 steps to the gallows. I have no idea what the significance of this is btw. Although you can make a noose with less wraps I imagine

Most WWII criminal hangings I've seen just have a fixed loop, very short length of rope, just enough for the drop.

I'm sure all of us learned how to tie a hangmans noose in our youth, just because that's the shit boys do.
