You got that as my position from saying that "beautiful clean coal" is a stupid phrase? Truly? You may be the self-proclaimed Trump whisperer but you sure have a hard time figuring out my positions.

The market would run everything on coal if that's how we decide things. Get real.

It's the most economical form of utility electricity production when you don't have to pay all the massive negative externalities.

An even better way to tell the story is by how much taxpayer money is dispensed per unit of energy, so the costs are standardized. For electricity generation, the EIA concludes that solar energy is subsidized to the tune of $24.34 per megawatt hour, wind $23.37 and "clean coal" $29.81
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I was talking to you, that doesn't mean I was putting words in your mouth, big difference. I made no assumptions as to whether you agreed or disagreed with my opinion, that's all in your head.

Clean coal is basically a jobs program to keep the Scots-Irish from their perennial rebellions. It's also a hand out to big GOP doners. You know a republican president is starting to lose control of the policy war when he utters that phrase. It's the republican analog to the democrats' "green energy".

It's subsidized boondoggling.

BTW.. There's uranium in these hills too. That's why we all need radon mitigation systems in the mountains..

Subsidizing energy boondoggles is bad whether it's solar or wing that is being subsidized, or clean coal being subsidized. You don't have to pick one or the other just because the DNC and GOP do.

I was stating a simple position, and you got butthurt about it. Just because other people on this forum have put words in your mouth lately doesn't mean I was doing that, you need to simmer down and stop reading between the lines while assuming the worst.
