I'm just wondering what apeman is griping about, with "accountability", they did a 7-to-1 stock split at $75/share, and it went straight to $132, if Tim Cook ain't making you money, go ahead and sell all your AAPL, but near as I can tell, Tim Cook has done alright by me, AAPL doesn't have a mind blowing dividend, but consider the stock split there, the buy backs on top, and the 250% return on investment since he took over, what's the beef?

He pretty clearly has no plan for the future. If I'd made that 7x return, I'd be cashing out right now, for sure.Smitty-48 wrote:I'm just wondering what apeman is griping about, with "accountability", they did a 7-to-1 stock split at $75/share, and it went straight to $132, if Tim Cook ain't making you money, go ahead and sell all your AAPL, but near as I can tell, Tim Cook has done alright by me, AAPL doesn't have a mind blowing dividend, but consider the stock split there, the buy backs on top, and the 250% return on investment since he took over, what's the beef?
There's nowhere to go from here but down. SteveJobs created a money printing machine, and now the rest of the world has caught up.

Yeah, to a certain extent, I wouldn't call it a buy at $117, and I would take your profits, but it's not time to start short selling them yet, there's still some milk left in this cow, and it's not like Tim Cook has come in and trashed the place, and like I said, they're not guilty of egregious hoarding, they do pay out, although again, more on the buy back side than the dividend side.GrumpyCatFace wrote:He pretty clearly has no plan for the future. Yes, if you bought when Steve Jobs came back, you've done very well, but it's not like you've then been burned since Tim Cook took over.

Certainly not. Apple will continue to coast along like GE, GM, US Steel, or any other outdated industrial for decades. But the heady days of cult worship by consumers are gone.
There's a short play for when all the over-optimistic money leaves a former growth stock, but it will be a while.

San Francisco supervisor Norman Yee recently proposed legislation that would prohibit autonomous delivery robots – which includes those with a remote human operator – on public streets in the city. He told technology news site Recode, “our streets and our sidewalks are made for people, not robots.” He also worries that many delivery jobs would disappear.
San Francisco police commander Robert O’Sullivan is in favour of the legislation, fearing the robots could harm children, the elderly, and those with limited mobility. “If hit by a car, they also have the potential of becoming a deadly projectile,” he told a local TV station.

Will it cost more if the ho is delivered in an air conditioned drone, properly chilled?
Should that kind of price discrimination even be legal??

I know weed is natural. What about Mad Dog 20/20? We just sort of help that into the bottle, straight from a grape farm, or whatever. Is acid natural, tho?
