It’s more fun to tear down someone who is perceived to be a hypocrite, especially a Bible-thumping hypocrite.

Worth to note that all the accusations are from quite some time ago. Back then Moore was a Democrat. Then he married, switched to GOP and apparently stopped with the young women.

There's enough accusers here that Moore is probably done. There will likely never be enough proof to even charge Moore in court, let alone convict. But socially and politically he will be done. So, pretty much StA's Nightmare scenario he has been screaming about.

I really like the idea of replacing him with Sessions and finding a better AG.

I think we are getting pretty close to that critical mass point when the next witch trials commence in earnest, actually. I don't really know how to quantify how many women it takes to trigger large numbers of them to start joining in for the fun and prizes, but I wouldn't assume it's much more than this. If it happens, you guys are going to get a front-row seat to what female nature is really about and how different they really are from us. This entire media farce only works for as long as men assume women are just like us in temperament and willingness to make false accusation. That's a big mistake.

The stuff that really offends me is when you see these crusty old neocons saying things like "I have no reason to disbelieve the women." Really?? Then what, pray tell, is his reason to disbelieve the man who stands accused? Does he believe the accuser because of her vagina and automatically disbelieves the man because he rocks a penis? People like that don't deserve to be anywhere near levers of power.

And a simple survey of history should indicate to any reasonable person that believing the woman instead of the man as a matter of course is probably the worst possible heuristic most likely to result in injustice.

This really is Salem Witch Trials level stupidity here. If these people were on the jury in To Kill of Mocking Bird, the innocent man would have hung.
