sportech® Is a brand. So no.

I have the whole line. It's not like you would understand. It's for people that actually do cooking you know?

Actually a Bowie knife would be a good flaying knife in a pinch... use it as you deem... I’ll use a butter knife for bagels and a cleaver/chef knife for its purpose :P

Each knife has a purpose. In this set:

Ronco® Rocker™
Showtime Knife
Carving Knife
Large Filet Knife
Bread & Bagel Knife
Chef Knife
Saw Knife
Boning Knife
Sportsman Knife
Chop & Serve Knife
Cheese Knife
Cleaver
Carving Fork
Utility Knife
Paring Knife
Garnish Knife
Steak Knives (12)
Kitchen & Poultry Shears
WTF is a showtime knife?
Death, death, to the IDF.

Each knife has a specific purpose though. Don't ever use knives for simply cutting things, I mean sure, some cut but some cut if you get my drift. It's a cooking thing I guess.

Try filleting a fish with a French chefs knife.
I do that all the time. A filleting knife would be better but a 12'' chefs knife still gets the job done.

It’s another fancy name for a carving knife, specifically for turkey and large foul.

It’s the generic knife you see with someone carving a turnkey. It’s called a showtime knife because it’s a knife to show off your skills with :)

Yeah, it would. But as you said it gets the job done.

I am ever amazed at TC's ability to consistently purchase the worst-possible brands.
