Huffman is referring to the third stanza which includes the lyric “no refuge could save the hireling and slave from the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave.”

As far as the NFL players, I think most on here agree they're fucking "useful idiots"....I've always had a disdain for the NFL....never liked it's marketing/brand....over the top, classless, sportmenshipless, and way way too commercialized....I won't miss it one bit.
I'm really beginning to think that race relations in the US will only get worse - there's too much to be gained by the race pimps....and the population, on average, is too stupid to see that....

I get what the problem is....Black are trapped in the inner cities because of leftist policies...and I'll agree that there has been past structural racism against them....but as far as I can tell, policy wise, they are presently favored over other races....so now one has to ask if they can be rehabilitated as a class? I'm seriously starting to question that...is it possible that so much damage has been done...that it can't be undone without ripping the country apart? We have generation after generation of fatherless ignoramuses being cultivated by the DNC in their inner city cease pools.....too much power there for the DNC to do anything that actually address the real issues....I do not see a solution....things are only going to get more dangerous....

I don't think it's just Barry.....its the DNC / leftists....race relations is a wound in the fabric of the country, and the DNC is doing their best to widen it.....I think it's gotten to the point where it can't be closed.....black are literally being taught by their "parents" and "community leaders" to hate whites.
Or maybe this is just what always happens in a multi-ethnic society where there is no overwhelming racial majority..
At the core of it, all of these issues are just different racial groups fighting over who's country this really is and who's interests it should represent. Pretty much everybody except some whites reject the notion that it can represent everybody in some nebulous civic nationalist identity that we manufacture out of nothing, like a modern-day Serapis cult.
