You don't have to be scared of shit. That's our enemy. This other bullshit is used to destroy all of us.
Russia is an existential threat to the US, Radical Islam is a nuisance you don't want to let out of control. Get your priorities straight.

They are not.

We actually have very little in real conflict with them. The neocons create this mess by trying to expand NATO for all those defense contracts.

This.

They stopped fucking around in our hemisphere a long time ago. We, on the other hand, continue to fuck with them in theirs. If they see us as a threat to them, we haven't exactly neglected to give them reason to think so.

Trump never claimed he was going to leave NATO or throw out members whose addition to NATO pissed the Russians off so much and even if he did the Russians would still be a bigger threat to you than Radical Islam. Talk to me when they get nukes, until then you are getting distracted a minor power on the geopolitical stag and ignoring the major powers who can actually fuck your shit up. Sleeping on Russia or China is naive one world kumbaya nonsense, get real. Radical Islam is way down the list of major threats.

I don't give a shit what he said he would do. NATO is a bad deal for Americans and it makes the world less safe.

You know what would be a good deal? An alliance with Russia.

And turns Euros into cucks who rely on someone stronger to defend them.

Indeed but America isn't going to do that anytime soon, so Cold War 2.0 is baked into the cake unless that changes. Even if NATO died and was replaced by a leaner an meaner institution better suited to American interests, Russia is still a much bigger threat to the US than Radical Islam and that isn't going to change anytime soon even if you were in charge of US foreign policy. You simply can't squeeze your buttcheeks hard enough together to make that happen in the foreseeable future.

What American interests that lie outside of Russia's sphere are threatened by Russian interests?

I disagree. I think we are at a turning point, and it could go in one of several different directions, a few of which involve all or part of what used to be the US aligned with Russia.

That was before the nukes. Post-nukes this is not possible unless you get Russia and the US to give up their nukes and we both know that is never going to happen. Get real StA, you can disagree and wishful think about such an alliance all you want, it's not happening.
