Trump never claimed he was going to leave NATO or throw out members whose addition to NATO pissed the Russians off so much and even if he did the Russians would still be a bigger threat to you than Radical Islam. Indeed but America isn't going to do that anytime soon, so Cold War 2.0 is baked into the cake unless that changes. Even if NATO died and was replaced by a leaner an meaner institution better suited to American interests, Russia is still a much bigger threat to the US than Radical Islam and that isn't going to change anytime soon even if you were in charge of US foreign policy.
