Effortless skating, puck moving, laser shooting, right handed defenceman with sick mitts, Billy Nylander on the back end, what's not to like?
Yzerman passed on him, another fail for Yzerman in the first round, apparently he's only a periodic genius and is quite hit and miss with first round picks. He made that pick because his dad played him tough, silly Yzerman.

Dallas just traded up and Tolvanen is still on the board..... but they take Oettinger because they need a goalie more. Fucking Sakic trade up! What the fuck is everyone thinking?

I Like Cal Foote, don't get me wrong, needs to work on his skating so he's a ways off, he would have been a fine pick at 17th as far as I was concerned, but not over Liljegren, seriously, just had an off year, but the skating tho, Liljegren has elite NHL skating right now, Cal Foote isn't even fast enough for the AHL yet.

If Philly doesn't take Tolvanen, and some other team in the first round takes him, all while Sakic sits on his hands, man that would burn, it would burn bad enough if Philly took him, but that would just take the cake. We were dead last in scoring last year, and Tolvanen might be the best shooter in the draft, trade the fuck up, the incompetence is staggering.

Philly didn't take him. Come on, common sense, find Joe Sakic now.

Like, Rasmus Dahlin is better, but Liljegren is still judged against Rasmus Dahlin, and Rasmus Dahlin could be the first overall pick next year, nobody mentions Cal Foote in the same breath as Rasmus Dahlin, Cal Foote skates like Freddie the Goat Gauthier, and no way the Leafs are getting a shot at Dahlin unless they win the lottery, whereas Liljegren at 17th? That's a found wallet if there ever was one.

How are so many teams passing on Tolvanen and Hague right now? Some NHL teams are just retarded, that's what my guess is, we're almost out of the first round here, 28 picks deep.

Please let one of them fall if Sakic doesn't trade up and wants to gamble, please hockey gods, that would be great.

Hague is a knock kneed skater, needs a lot of work, kind of a project, and plans to go to college for a degree, so might not even sign with the team that drafts him, Tolvanen? Here comes the Hawks so he may go right now.

Nashville just lost Neal, they need a replacement, I don't see how Tolvanen makes it out of the first round, if they don't take him, Pittsburgh will. Trade up, damn it!

Ugh. Sakic you suck.

Tolvanen for the Fife-ster, that's a steal at 30th overall.

Damn right could be the best shooter in the draft, right after losing Neal, the hockey gods sure love the Preds. So close Avs, yet so far away.
