Dude, I think they know they are wrong. They are just too big of an asshole to admit it.

That's delusional thinking. If a worker needs something to live and it needs to be paid for, it makes no difference where along the line it gets taken out. The difference between a worker getting healthcare from his employer, money explicitly for healthcare withheld and purchased for him by his employer, or getting paid money to buy healthcare is not materialy different to the bottom line. A business model where the employees do not get paid enough to buy insurance is something else again.Speaker to Animals wrote:LMFAO
It definitely makes a difference. Businesses don't care how the government taxes their employee's income.

So just more Keynesian hooey. OK, if I'm missing the punchline as "let's just drink ourselves sober," let me know.Martin Hash wrote:The State fills in the gap. "Workfare"Fife wrote:What's "Working Welfare" as used in that post?
I've been in business for 35 years, currently have 2 businesses, and have done quite well thank you, by not engaging in delusional bookkeeping. Why don't YOU explain how it makes a bottom line difference whether an employer provides insurance or includes the cost in the salary. Usually it's cheaper to for the employer to buy the group insurance. What was really disgusting was when buying your own was not tax deductible but was a deductible for the employer, I think that's gone now.
