What a letdown.

Whatever, dude. I am here to discuss the actual topic. You are here to strut your feathers. You do you and fuck off off for a change.

Just continue posting about yourself and leave me the fuck out of your ego troubles.

That was very deep and meaningful. I’m glad your conversational standards remain at such a high level. How else shall we all behave and post so as not to disturb your fragility, o’ lonely one?

Uh huh.

I think your insecurity is such that you feel this need to derail almost every thread by cutting other people down in order to boost your own ego and self-worth rather than use the forum as it was fucking intended -- to discuss ideas. While the temporary feelings of value you might gain from this behavior apparently seem worth it to you, as far as I am concerned it portrays you in an absolutely pathetic light. Who is so insecure that EVERY God damned thread has to be made into a discussion about how they are so strong and everybody else is inferior to them?

There was an actual thread topic that had fuck all to do with you.

Rage on, broham. Was your ten thousandth xenophobic tirade introduced in an unrelated thread derailed? That had to sting.

Jesus, you are pathetic.

This discussion had nothing to do with our personal lives until you decided to start cutting everybody down to assuage your ego problems.

Do you not see how sick this is?

Look at the active topics list of threads you participate in. Most of them involve you cutting others down and talking about how virtuous you are.

This discussion is about society. It's not about you. Nobody cares about how virtuous you think you are.

You’re the only one discussing me.
I figure someone should probably point that out to you, since you have zero self awareness.

But do continue.

The monks and the fur traders had other monks and fur traders.
They sat every night by the fire with their comrades.
They sang songs or hymns.
They ate together, they were part of a community.

This is not the modern world.
I'm with Kath in that there is not much to be done about this other than waking up to the fact that this is an issue and seeing if we can commit to reinvesting in real world, not just digital, communities.

Other wise the blight of depression, psychopharm, weed consumption, obesity and bla bla bla... will continue unabated...
This is the opposite of claiming victimhood.
It's identifying a problem and calling it out... rather than denying it with a "suck it up whiners" mantra.

Bullshit.

Every single thread you participated in in recent months has been made about you. You cut other people down to assuage you own ego and showcase how virtuous you think you are. The actual thread topic gets torched in the process.

NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT HOW VIRTUOUS YOU THINK YOU ARE.

Can you process that? Maybe we can discuss the actual fucking topic for a change?
