Basically, as a viewer, you are passively watching this sex scene. The man is the only active agent here, with the female getting penetrated and acted upon. It's a lot more difficult to imagine yourself as the active agent in a scene than the passive agent since you yourself are also a passive viewer. It probably starts with a viewer imagining he is the man, but over many years, he begins to subconsciously identify as the one being fucked.

I mean, do you think that watching violent movies or playing video games make people more violent?
