Kid Rock is a ticking time bomb waiting to happen. Especially if you take into consideration he is more of a loose cannon than Trump.
Guess you need a safe career politician like Hillary Clinton or Paul Ryan to represent you, then. You know - a professional with nothing to hide. Blackmail proof.

It's a goddamn miracle that the nation was founded at all, without a single career politician to watch over us and keep things together in 1776.
Truly miraculous.
Must have been a fluke.
Actually, I wouldn't mind a person that was a firebrand but had some civility to them as well. Kid Rock has shown none of that ability. We need a person that knows when to turn on the fire and when to use the hose to cool down a situation. Hillary Clinton was not that person, and she is a bitch.

She rode her husband's success (falsely given) to where she is now, and if she went on her own, she never would have made it past lawyer.

I bet Kid Rock is well-versed in using the hoes to chill everyone out. What's the problem?

Right... So, in other words, you are fine with our politicians acting like teenagers at best? If you don't see that as a problem, then that is part of the problem.

McCain isn't a firebrand, he's a hack that should have retired well over a decade ago.

No, of course I'm not fine with our politicians acting like teenagers. But until this mythical firebrand, but deft-with-the-hose, who's civil and mature and a host of various other magical unicorn virtues comes along, I'm going to continue to fart around on the internet with juvenile wordplay, thank you very much.

Would I love to see well-balanced candidate (for any office) come along, who checks all the boxes for stances on the issues and isn't an irresponsible chickenshit? You bet.

These mythical candidates are around all the time, the problem is the media and the general public would rather see stupid reign than level headed people in place of power.

And I'll lighten up the sooner our leaders stop rowing us down the fucking drain, and laugh as the rest of those clueless assholes think everything is fine because our leaders say so.

Celebrity status isn't something better or worse than career politician. Its a shitty indicator of worth and real value. I'm for ordinary non
in famous citizens running for office and holding office. Glorifying and increasing celebrities fame and power isn't the right direction. And I don't think making a career out of it is in and of itself a bad thing, but its likely become too common. I'm also for term limits. So there's that. It won't solve everything wrong or corruptible but it might help some.

GCF and TC would disagree.
They think career politician > all.

If you haven't devoted your life to fund raising, self-promotion, and making powerful friends then clearly you're an inferior candidate and unfit to govern.

Well TC you can join Dan Carlin in spending your life waiting for the archetypal candidate who will never, ever, ever have any chance.
