I don't blame W completely, 9-11 was a shock the nation hadn't seen in 60 years. If W get's real blame for Afghanistan it's for not gong whole hog and getting distracted in Iraq.

BHO deserves just as much blame, maybe more. He had a clean slate, he could have learned from the mistakes of W, but he didn't, he doubled down. He didn't commit to either winning or getting out of Afghanistan, he got us into Libya and Syria. He's an idiot. W can at least claim there were some unknowns.

Agree that Obama should have ended it too, but Libya and Syria are nothing approaching the scale of Afghanistan or Iraq. Those are just IC games.

The American people also need to realize that to win, we will have to destroy all will of the enemy to fight, destroy any sympathy for the enemy, millions of local people will die. Cities, towns and historical landmarks will be destroy. We have no Geneva convention agreements with these people, they respect no laws of fair warfare, and will get none in return. We will warn EVERY neighboring nation and person who is sympathetic to our enemy that we will not allow them to simply slip across a border and come back to fight another day. We will hold summary executions of bomb makers, we will use every tool available to us to destroy the enemy as quickly as possible.

1. Trump rejected being fed the same strategy we've been using for 15 years
2. I am in favor of Trump taking costs and implications of either staying in Afghanistan or getting out to the American People.
