Just replace it with a new flag and leave a note that directs them towards the US Flag Code or to contact the American Legion for more information. Just stealing the flag won't educate them at all.

CNN will broadcast it as another Trump hate crime. Anderson Cooper will be live at the poolside where they bus in some black kids from the projects to swim while he broadcasts news of this latest crime in the hate wave to sweep across the nation.
