This reminds me of the, "when you think about it. He's really not their president," dogpile.California wrote:Do you even History bro?Montegriffo wrote:Sure, it was your right to copy the French and become republicans.Speaker to Animals wrote:

To be fair I didn't choose to have a place in France I just inherited it when my Dad died and my sister and I have chosen not to sell it. It's a nice country to visit and Aquitaine is full of lovely castles. I might even retire there myself eventually. There are huge numbers of British ex pats in that part of the country because it is nice and cheap to buy property. You can buy a huge country house for £100k and the booze is dirt cheap too.Penner wrote:

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Oh leave it out, I'm sure there are loads of gaps in your knowledge of other countries histories. No shame in admitting to gaps in my knowledge and trying to learn more about it.Okeefenokee wrote:This reminds me of the, "when you think about it. And Trump is definitely NOT MY PRESIDENT.
I don't even have one I've got a Monarch as head of state.

Much more expensive and not as hot in the summer as Limosin where my place is. There are a lot of Anglos though as it is much closer to England so the wealthy buy holiday homes there.TheReal_ND wrote:Normandy is true Anglo land.

NO. Dad wasn't French he just retired there for his last few years because it is cheap and his pension went a lot further.Penner wrote:So, you are French!Montegriffo wrote:To be fair I didn't choose to have a place in France I just inherited it when my Dad died and my sister and I have chosen not to sell it. I am just a secret Franco-file.
