As I've said before, let their policies hit them square in the face.

Best way to get rid of a bad rule is to faithfully enforce it. As a person who's had to clean out bunny boxes, people are assholes. If you're going to shoot up in the bathroom, at least take your needles with you. Even had someone put the cap on backwards (poked the needle through the end of the cap, so it looked like it was capped when it would poke you if you handled it).

It's a bit of a catch-22 for Starbucks. Their patrons will boycott them if they don't open the bathrooms but their patrons don't have to deal with the fallout or the danger. Customers don't give a shit, believe that.

In women's bathrooms they have containers that attach to the wall inside the stalls. They're basically mini trash cans so women can put feminine hygiene products in them, in relative privacy. People shoot up in relative privacy and then put their needles in them and then an employee has to clean those boxes out.
