Monte is just going to avoid addressing any of these critiques of his ideology

and then go back to peddling the same nonsense talking points as if he never saw them

he'll go full ostrich because he can't defend his position and doesn't want to risk destroying the delusion he has built much of his identity around

cognitive dissonance is a helluva drug

Checkmate ;)
nobody ever said she was perfect

her initial response was to do nothing about the invasion of the Falklands for example

it wasn't her idea, that was Admiral Sir Henry Leach

a Prime Minister is only as good as the advice they are getting

Dude dwells in a carbon emitting machine, consumes relentlessly, and when he does do some productive work - even more carbon gets released.

I work in a small room. Barely drive anywhere. Produce seven or more figures worth of revenue for my company without burning a single fossil fuel.

I think it's fairly clear who's destroying the planet.
The disproportionate consumer whose whole existence centers around the burning of fossil fuels.
But hey, don't let my yank that podium out from under him.
Preach on, hypocrite.

production is bad, it hurts the planet

human flourishing is bad for the environment

success is evil and failure is a virtue

nevermind that it isn't true, but if humanity isn't living in squalor to keep the environment pristine

then they must be forced to according to Monte

Say a bunch of people who haven't offed themselves for some reason.

Seems they lack the courage of their convictions.

-OR- ... maybe they're just disingenuous liars looking for a passive aggressive angle to vent their hatred on others.
I mean, if humans are so bad, why are they still here?

Oh ... not them?
US?
We're the problem?
Well ... that's original.

control freaks who care more about controlling the behavior of others than the health of the environment they claim to champion, who knew?

it becomes rather obvious that these people are fake environmentalists

when they reject any measures that help the environment yet don't force people they don't like to behave the way they want them to

the environmentalism is just a nice sounding brand label to sell their freedom hating control freak agenda to naive suckers

it's a fake news ruse

Wrong. I live in a tiny home which emits a minute amount of carbon compared to a house.
My electricity is 100% renewable from solar and wind.
I consume very little.
I drive a 20 year old car which gets 55 mpg.
I use the same amount of water in a day that you use flushing your toilet twice. I use a compost toilet which uses zero water.
I don't eat meat.
I take note of food miles.
I don't have children or pets.
My job consists of feeding hungry people not sucking on mammon's dick like an office drone.

Yeah, I'll compare consumption v production with you.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
