There's one for the Ask a Liberalist page.
I have the same suspicion. Never before have such a large collection of discontented, misanthropic, jealous, and hateful people been able to organize, communicate, and project their destructive bile on the masses.

The folks that everyone used to intentionally exclude from interacting with polite company have found a base of operations, and their stronghold is social media.

Well said.

p.s. Mark the date, it was said here first. I've noticed DCF, and then MHF lead the intellectual awaking by a couple years.

We're just doing our own thing up here, basically just trying to keep your dumpster fire contained to your side of the border, like I said, we may need the proverbial Gurkhas to patrol the frontier of Milton Friedman's Can Kong, but in the end, that's the sort of military capabilities that we should be fostering anyways, Milton Friedman's Hong Kong doesn't actually have to project military power beyond its frontiers, we'll leave it to the Great Powers to rule the waves, as we couldn't do it even if we wanted to, and no sense worrying about that which is beyond your control, as that simply diverts you pointlessly from task and purpose.
Why does "Canada First" sound so familiar? (BTW, I like that sound.)
Doesn't actually matter to the rest of us which Great Power rules the waves, whether Spain, France, Britain, America, or China, there's only one reason to do it, and that is to effect the secure movement of goods in trade, which, if you're not a Great Power, you can simply roll with it, only Great Powers care which Great Power is controlling the Sea Lines of Communication, but so long as somebody is controlling them, trading nations can ride.

It seems likely that even during The Collapse, America will keep the sea lanes clear. That's a lot of Jobs Program, plus all the other bennies like fiat currency. 300 million people, 100 million of them armed & trained to be aggressive through videogames, aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Mind you, again, I don't think getting baited into the ville to be ambushed by the Viet Cong, followed by them scapegoating you for lighting up the villagers as an ostensible atrocity, is an effective way to defend Marse Robert, and Marse Robert would probably say so, having gotten baited like that himself, to the foot of Cemetery Ridge.

As that feller on the internet points out, Bobby Lee didn't finish up as a General at Appamottox, he had a whole nother career after that, wherein he took an entirely different approach.
