Hitler sure threw Germany and Germans under the bus real quick after they started losing the war. If that's putting Germany First, they are better off with Merkel.

The real test when it comes to whether Hitler gave a shit about Germany and Germans, was when shit hit the fan, and it turns out, he was full of shit, who knew?

Hitler wasn't loyal to Germany or Germans, he was loyal to Darwinian "Survival of the Fittest" Forces, Malthusian Doomsday Predictions, and Nietzschean Will To Power.

If Germany or Germans got in the way of that, then they can rot under Communist rule for all Hitler cared, or burn with the Jews. He didn't give a shit about them, he just pretended to, when it served his purposes. It almost seems as the Winter Offensive was merely to delay the Allies so that the Soviets could destroy Germany.

What was the point of that shit? Why not direct the offensive towards the Soviets and allow the Allies to capture as much of Germany as possible?
