I certainly find the assassination theory to be plausible.

Hacking the car and driving it off the road is an established JSOC TTP.
Why bother at that point though? Book has been published, the horse is out of the barn door. Dude lost his job.

Payback is a bitch. Soldiers can indeed be revanchist.

Just do the math.

Hastings was let into the fold, then he stabbed JSOC in the back.

Hasting died by driving his car off the road into a tree, which is a JSOC hack and slash TTP.

Kahwanky dink?

Plausible.

Not a Kahwinky dink?

Equally plausible.

Yeah, has that been SOP in this country? Nixon wanted to kill Anderson. I can't actually think of a proven case of this happening in America, but that Gary Webb one looks sketchy as hell..

Most conspiracy theories are not that plausible, most conspiracy theories are a big stretch logically.

But when Hastings drove his car into a tree, flat out pedal to the medal so that it exploded?

First thing I thought of was JSOC.

You said you don't think Oswald acted alone either. I'm on the fence about that one. Ruby was gonna die anyway. He had cancer or some shit.

All I say is, Ruby stepping up to assassinate Oswald so conveniently, and then not having much of a reason for having done that, is quite the Kahwinky dink.

It's the lack of a motivation.

His explanation doesn't ring true.

Why kill Oswald for JFK and spend the rest of your life in jail for that?

Makes no sense.

Mob connections however, do explain why someone might feel impelled to take one for the team.

You think the Mafia was behind it?

No way to know.

I just find the mafia connections to Ruby, and Ruby assassinating someone so conveniently, without any good reason to do it, to be a cosmic kawinky dink.
