A posteriori fallacy. You can roll out a million Hitlers and a million autobahns, and it doesn't amount to an argument.

If you want to learn about private transportation in history, check out google regarding roads, railways, canals, turnpikes, or about a million other things; or the book I provided in the OP.

Who does anyone think builds and maintains the roads now? Nancy Pelosi or any other elected asshole?

Try making an argument sometime.

That's not the argument. You are using a straw man to create a fallacy that does not exist.

There can be no mass infrastructure without a state. If you had no state, and private actors build private toll roads everywhere, the private actors would become the de facto state. Weird how you hadn't thought of that. You slavishly obsess over your silly "taxation is theft" meme to the point where you miss what a state actually is.

A close analogy would be directed towards SJWs: if Bruce Jenner is a woman, can you name a single male-to-female transgender thingy that birthed a baby? No? If you can, then my bet is on that thingy being hermaphroditic. To wit: only women birth babies and whatever controls the mass infrastructure and defense is, by definition, a state, whether it's run by shekel-chasing ass bandits, military warlords, or Nancy Pelosi. You can call a collection of for-profit toll troll companies "freedom", but they are a de facto state when all transportation and commerce is dependent upon their decisions and whether they allow you to even use said infrastructure. Derp.

Not an argument. You've only stated a wild conclusion that infrastructure is impossible without a compulsory state, and that the only choice is between Mad Max or submission to the tender mercies of Pelosi. That kind of Heaven's Gate hooey is going to take some serious argument, not just jazz-hands.

But youve provided more fascinating musings about SJWs from behind the Motte walls.

Fife, I remember that in a post of mine (on the DCF, maybe two-three years ago?) I joked that you were an anarchist, and you corrected me that you weren't that much against having a state/government. So I've long assumed you were simply a die hard minarchist, but I've noticed you've been meme'ing and quoting anarcho-capitalists alot these last (one? two?) years. You don't even believe in having a State as a "neccesary evil" anymore, now?

Did your beliefs about the role (or lack thereof) of the State change over the last few years?
