There's a "forever alone" reddit for romantically/sexually hopeless people, kind of like a benign version of the incel reddit. The reasons vary, some are supposedly shockingly ugly, some are just too lacking in social skills/personality.
They're basically saying, "we can't get laid, normal dating advice doesn't apply to us for X reason, people act like it's our fault for not trying even though we have tried."

Course I come from a strong family that provides lots of this support. I also have a hard time relating to people will little family interactions. Probably part of why I don't think the government is very necessary.
