When do we stop pretending to be negotiating in good faith?
Hasn't the fact that we are playing by prison rules now become apparent?
There is no policy from the Left that is a win-win.
Settle down on the coal attacks Kath. The families who live in areas that rely on coal mining jobs are the sons and daughters of the men who made your big city life possible. They have sacrificed incessantly just to scratch by only to be stabbed in the back.

Well, you should stop pretending like Kath has any intention of doing anything in good faith. They are deep cover. LOL.

There were a few times where you could actually see Ryan cringing followed by the reluctant clapping.
Nancy Pelosi's behavior was deplorable, but I even saw her clapping at least once. McConnell was quite stoic; didn't see him clap much, either.

So when the cars came out, did the president give a SOTU where he decried cars and promised to save the jobs of the buggy makers? Progress can be painful.
Pretending coal is beautiful and clean is silly. Anyone who says coal is beautiful and clean looks like an idiot.

Opposing the coal industry != opposing coal miners. Propping up a 19th century industry, so that those people can be worked to death for pennies, and drown of black lung is not doing them any favors.
Same as giving welfare to minorities, really. They need to move on.
