Sounds great. I don't trust anything in the desert to be edible. Not enough rain to wash away all the filth. It just builds up over the years like salt in the ocean. That's my feeling, anyway.TheReal_ND wrote:We got doves out here. Not many pigeons at all. Head towards town fifteen minutes and that completely changes. Dove taste great. Quail hunting is more like rabbit hunting, or shooting doves.
You best insure that you don't have some drunk and/or dipshit like Cheney around on those kinds of hunts. Unless you don't mind a 7 1/2 shot flossing.

If we ever wanted turkey, we could have shot them out the back door in the garden.
Has anyone ever thought of that? You can't shoot on a feeder, but I never read anything about shooting in the garden. All that effort we put into keeping them out of the garden doesn't make a lot of sense now.

Dove is very tasty when cooked right. I like mine off the grill. Marinade is important for dove, it's easy to mess it up. I like Dale's marinade myself for dark stuff like dove or duck.TheReal_ND wrote:We got doves out here. Not many pigeons at all. Head towards town fifteen minutes and that completely changes. Re: Russia! Russia!! Russia!!!
So the "hardest" evidence provided thus far by the "intel community" (Mike Morrell) is communications between Russian politicians celebrating Clinton's defeat.
The fact Russians would be celebrating the defeat of the Sniper of Bosnia should not be surprising to anyone. Bill Clinton stuck it to the Ruskies worse than anyone since Hitler. Then you had Hillary over there trying to build a group of Oligarchs who would be strong enough to overthrow Putin.
Remember this guy...Mikhail Khodorkovsky
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/b ... a1656940c4
And this guy...Mikhail Prokhorov
The man who cared too little How Mikhail Prokhorov tried (and failed) to reshape Russian politics and media
https://meduza.io/en/feature/2016/05/20 ... too-little
Those were our guys. Putin crushed them both.
Anyways, vodkas for everyone!!! Over the election isn't shit.
So, does anyone else have anything??

There never was anything.
But this could get interesting,
But this could get interesting,
Then Trump tweeted that he wanted an investigation into the leaking of details of the upcoming intelligence report to NBC News.

I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it.

Re: Russia! Russia!! Russia!!!
I don’t doubt the Russians were involved indirectly or directly in the leaks – nobody in their right mind would doubt Russia’s interest in wanting to sway public opinion in the US, but so what? Since when did swaying opinions not become fair game in a free election? That’s the whole point of it isn’t it? That is what free elections are all about... swaying opinions. Propaganda, Fake News, Smears, Lies, Deceptions... whatever... its all free game because the alternative would be restricting the freedom of the press.
Embarrassing information was leaked… that is what the DNC needed to deal with. Nothing else! Going after the source of who leaked it instead of addressing the damaging information is an admission of guilt in the worst possible way – it is a dismissal of the ethical violations that the information may have brought to light as well as an insult to the American electorate... basically telling voters they are easily manipulated sheep (That might be true, but for gods sake don't say it out loud!) Deny it, apologize, disavow the offenders… anything… convince the voter that the leaked information does not represent the Democratic Party.

For the latest declassified Intelligence report on the Russian actions in the elections, link here to the (pdf-file)
See Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections
Some comments,
- First, something that easily especially here is forgotten, is that the campaign was multifaceted. Not just the two DNC hacks and nothing else. And this is the biggest reason why the 400-pound guy on a bed idea is so whacky and hilarious.

From the report:
- There's an interesting assesment on just why Putin held a grudge against Hillary.Moscow’s influence campaign followed a Russian messaging strategy that blends covert intelligence operations—such as cyber activity—with overt efforts by Russian Government agencies, state-funded media, third-party intermediaries, and paid social media users or “trolls.” Russia, like its Soviet predecessor, has a history of conducting covert influence campaigns focused on US presidential elections that have used intelligence officers and agents and press placements to disparage candidates perceived as hostile to the Kremlin.
- Also just how connected for example RT is to the Kremlin is assessed.Putin most likely wanted to discredit Secretary Clinton because he has publicly blamed her since 2011 for inciting mass protests against his regime in late 2011 and early 2012, and because he holds a grudge for comments he almost certainly saw as disparaging him.
