I'm going to create a mumsnet account and shill for Boris. Mum's coffee mornings are going to be filled with Boris, leading the fight against Islam. Mumsnet is the true power behind the throne over there.

It will be known as the era of the Hair Gods.

Sabre rattling in the finest tradition.
Next, we blockade the French ports and seize all ships trying to trade with them.
It's about time we had another war with France. The scallop wars last year fizzled out unsatisfactorily and honour must be restored.

Poor old Nigel.
Couldn't get a Brexit party MP elected in a by-election last week despite being in a 60% leave voters area.
A classic example of vote Farage get Corbyn as the Brexit party split the vote on the right and allowed the Labour candidate to win.

I always found the best way to scuttle your stalking horse political party when it gets out of control and actually wins is to break it up into different parties and stab the successful politicians in the party in the back.

Boris came out of hiding yesterday to officially launch his leadership bid.
His presentation was marked by him limiting the number of questions to six and completely refusing to answer when asked if he had taken cocaine. He also apologised for any offence caused by his comments likening burkas to letterboxes but stated he would continue to speak plainly to get his message apart.
Sajid Javid also launched his bid yesterday. He is fast becoming my least favourite candidate.
Rory Stewart is working the hardest and speaking the most sense but is an outsider and unlikely to meet the 10% requirement of the second ballot.

Is it dementia setting in or has Trump just got a shit memory?
Boris Johnson has hit out at Donald Trump for his "ill-informed comments" calling for Muslims to be banned from the United States to ensure the country does not end up with "radicalised" no-go areas like London.

The Republican presidential front-runner defended his controversial idea for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" until authorities "can figure out" Muslim attitudes to the US by claiming police in cities like London and Paris were "afraid for their lives" because of large Muslim communities.

But Mr Johnson hit back in his typical style, saying: "The only reason I wouldn't go to some parts of New York is the real risk of meeting Donald Trump.”
