If you really want to piss off a vegan, tell them that Hitler was one also. I've done this twice. One person actually started arguing that Hitler ate bone marrow and eggs so he wasn't a real vegan. They probably don't know a single fact from the second world war, but they know some random factoid about Hitler's diet. They probably got it from an FAQ on a vegan website were I to guess.

Nazis loved animals it was part of their zeitgeist. They were the original hippies before it was cool. They loved nature, hiking, animals and human kind. They really get a bad rap over trying to get rid of jews but whatever. They were before their time but yeah, vegetarianism is kind of retarded.
