Scott won't even start his Periscope until he has at least 1000 people watching. 1000 people sign on in 5 seconds! He doesn't have a set time he broadcasts so his fans are waiting for an indicator then immediately switch whatever they were doing to him. (I watch a YouTube version a couple hours later which gets 10,000 views in just a day or 2, and often exceeds 100,000 after a while.)

I am not terribly impressed with any of the YouTubers trying to become personalities as happens on television. YouTube, when not being censored, shines when it is only the ideas and arguments getting broadcast, to stand on their own merits. The very best YouTubers are anonymous for this reason.

When the YouTuber is trying to build a public brand as a personality, using their real identity and face, then they end up focusing less upon the ideas and more upon their brand.

Black Pigeon Speaks, for example, only focused on his ideas and arguments. He could not care less what people think of him. He shot up in popularity from out of nowhere because he said well what a lot of people were afraid to say, but also could not quite grasp cometely or put into words. Because he is anonymous, he can say shit the left usually destroys one's life for saying.

The truth about the terrible shit unleased upon our society by our own women, for instance, cannot even be openly said by Donald Trump. Most people have very little awareness about how bad this PC stranglehold is because they are well indoctrinated by the left to not even think wrongthink.
