Shocked...……………….. just Shocked to learn that there was an Islamic Conquest of Spain. I had previously listened to a very popular podcast and that fan of history told me it was just a series of small raids and the Spanish locals jumped on board willingly with the superior Hajji ways.


Who knew, this Islamic Conquest, was just like every other Islamic Conquest, and Andalus was ruled just like every other place Islamists Rule...………. Occams Razor or some shit like that.

I see there are some youtube videos for this podcast, but I am having trouble finding a place where I can download the episodes. I like listening to podcasts while I'm driving, doing yardwork, exercising, or working, but I have trouble focusing on them when I'm sitting down at home. I need to find a place to download this stuff.

Yea I don't think they are available normally for download for some reason. Strange really. I'm sure its out there somewhere but not accessible really.

Yea, it's extremely messy with no proper episode numbers either. The SoundCloud site is half-baked with a limited amount of episodes on it as well.

I use Huffduffer to listen to youtube videos. It creates an audio file and places it in a personal feed you can subscribe to. I would start with the First Crusade and work mostly chronologically. Then after a dozen or so episodes go through to the topics that interest you the most. Thats what I posted simply examples of specific episodes that I liked.
