Well, the Preds certainly should be able to, then again, San Jose is on the way down, but they can still play heavy and just grind it out, so the Preds can't phone it in, but if the Preds are skating, should be able to handle San Jose.

Thing is, it's the dog days of the season, and trade deadline, so can get some wonky games around this time, guys get distracted.

Typical give the young guy big money because he showed some flash in a contract year and good defense are hard to come by type deal, good chunk of the time those reaches don't pan out.
