Thanks for shitting up my thread, montez.
WTF is up with you? Nobody in the 2018 midterm thread wants to hear about the Olympics.

It's performance art. He is demonstrating the Democrat campaign. A bunch of self righteous holier than thou lecturing from people qualified to do neither that if ignored they still might find a way to win but if listened too will be self destructive and they'll be left scratching their heads wondering why.Fife wrote:Thanks for shitting up my thread, montez.

Jesus fucking Christ. One pun based joke sure managed to expose a whole heap of hypocrisy in this going nowhere thread.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Now tell me your thoughts on the mid term elections. I predict a sway towards the Dems if they can manage to campaign on the performance of the administration rather than doubling down on non-gender bathrooms and other identity politics.

What performance of the administration? The real economic one that the media ignore but everyone is seeing or the performance as portrayed by the MSM? That's the question.Montegriffo wrote:If this was a joke it sure missed your first rule.Fife wrote:Thanks for shitting up my thread, montez.

Doubling down on the fake news narrative is not a long term winning strategy either.
Media outlets on both sides of the divide have their biases, accept it and move on because press censorship as proposed by Trump is not the answer. Refusing access to press conferences to critical media just makes Trump look weak and scared.

Except that isn't happening. They need each other, they feed off of each other. Your "OMG censorship!" cries are just another "weesa gonna die" identity politics rally that may win a niche group of viewers but it doesnt win votes. It used to be a political party controlled its media for its own purposes but now media controls a political party and the goal isn't to win elections.Montegriffo wrote:Doubling down on the fake news narrative is not a long term winning strategy either.

Tell me, has any previous President refused access to certain mainstream media journalists before? I have not heard of it happening previously but am prepared to accept that it is normal practise if it is a common occurance.

Barack Obama tried it with Fox News bit the rest of the corps rebelled. Notice how no one is really running to CNN defense, because it is a show and they want his spotlight. Who gets and who doesn't get a creditial is always a big deal. This is from 2005.Montegriffo wrote:Tell me, has any previous President refused access to certain mainstream media journalists before? The WH press briefing is a show, with dems it is bland and fawning with GOP you get some entertainment, Press freedom is not at issue there.
