Anyone else think the world is far more likely to end due to human error than a deliberate action?
The sooner our robot overlords take over the better.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I meant anyone here. Of course, the MSM is trying to score points on him.The Conservative wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:I don't think anyone is blaming Trump for the fuckup. But it's pretty fucking obvious that he doesn't have any control over the White House staff. The Conservative wrote:So the WP is blaming Trump for not jumping on this and saying something about how this was a false alarm.
How is this his responsibility, and not Hawaii's? Seriously, newspapers need to start reporting the news again instead of having the opinion section be the entire newspaper.
Why is it the president's responsibility to respond to something the state should have a handle on?
I don't know, to me I would be hanging those who did the false alarm out to dry... fire/retire them and apologize to the people for scaring the crap out of them.
If Trump responded and said "Sorry, false alarm!" in a tweet, people would have said that the Trump Administration was ignorant and foolish for not having better reigns on the system.
So, have it one way or another, but Trump is not responsible for this, nor should he be held accountable for a state's emergency system screw up.
I may not have voted for Trump, but lets put the blame where it belongs.
Did you even read the article? They would blame Trump for their neighbors dog crapping in their lawn.

Again, I was referring to the MHF. Yes, I'm aware that people are desperately trying to pin it on Trump.Okeefenokee wrote:ehem,GrumpyCatFace wrote:I don't think anyone is blaming Trump for the fuckup. Completely incompetent (to a dangerous degree) government worker will not lose job. Stand by, taxpayers, as you’re double charged for this position when a contractor will be hired to perform this job correctly. The incompetent worker will be retired to their government cubicle to play FarmVille until such time as they can retire with a full pension and benefits.
