True true. Crypto markets are the same thing but moving at the pace of a fruit guy's life. Buying at ATH is never a good idea. Best to get in on the ground level. That's why I think I have a hot tip on graphics cards but as you've said they have done x5 and x10 respectively over the past couple years iirc. I wouldn't short it considering the crypto gains though.

The ground level on NVIDIA was three years ago, when it was $20, I wouldn't buy it now, at $222. Wait out on that.

Even if crypto, or whatever it is you want to buy, is something you are long on, don't buy the Bull, wait for the Bear, if you didn't get into this market in 2008, just stay out for now.

If you see the market is down triple digits and NVIDIA is back down around $15-$20? OK maybe give it a look then, but it's up a 1000% right now, don't buy high.
