Its a deflection. Lets just talk about every topic in every thread. The first response to any topic should be something unrelated to the title. I can dig the chaos.
BTW the sky is usually blue. Is that true to?
Oh...
I was agreeing with you.
I don't think the true statement that computers are more powerful today, or even that many people have more wealth, is a particularly good argument that we don't need to be concerned with how our financial markets operate.
HAIL!

The OP is like the turd that was Occupy Wall Street. Sorry GoG it is. Yeah, it sucks that Business is getting wealthier than scrooge, but it's our government that gives them access to do just that. The Corporations you are talking about don't pay the taxes you'd think they should pay now and they won't in the future. Facebook and Google pay hardly anything in Taxes; the Bushes and Clintons pay hardly anything in Taxes. Raise the corporate rate to 90% and those wealthy elites still will pay hardly anything in Taxes.

At least I can still go outside without paying a tax to the government or a fee to the local chief.
Mercenaries?
And the romans were quite virtuous. Best slave masters ever I heard.

Are you deciding for me and everyone else how much is too much, out of wack, or not in alignment?
Are you gonna decide for me and everyone else how much profit is excessive?
Because the dystopian future you're referencing where air is monetized comes once that sort of authoritarian rule is established.

What is "wack?"
Otherwise, tell us all what is "in alignment" and who, exactly, is running the "alignment" machine.

Private contractors that do security work = mercenaries. Theres talk of them taking all the "security" work left to do in Afghanistan.
Yes. Rome was better.

I don't think they are mercenaries in the way that most people think. They aren't really used for door kicking. Highly paid security guards really.
