I was raised with this same belief system, but the chosen people were the Catholics. My dad thought that Rabbis with good hearts would likely get in, because god views them as just mistaken. No heaven for anyone else, though. It's sad how we abuse our children to fear an invisible sky man.

As far as I know the Bible doesn't tell the CC to cover up the acts of child abusing priests. I think that directive came from somewhere else.

I'm not here to defend any outdated, rotten, medieval religion, I'm just pointing out that for every tabloid article posted about refugees raping I could find one about paedophile priests if I were inclined to act in such a way. Neither example would prove that the majority of either faith is degenerate but this is the intent of those who feel it necessary to keep posting articles about Islam whilst ignoring the excesses of the Catholic faith. I expect I could google examples from the Jewish, Hindu or even Buddhist religions to "prove" their degeneracy too if I though it was an honest way to make a point.

Saw a documentary about the actual practicing orthodox Jews and a rabbi argued something along those lines. Apparently, Israel has been divided between socialists and actual devout Jews for a long time. The devout Jews are not happy with the crazy shit done by the left. Some of them have even threatened to leave and create a new Zionist movement to take the remaining land so that they can create a nation of Judah (or some name along the lines of the ancient split).
