Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
mind you, that's 30 cruise missiles to take out a platoon of 35 soldiers
the Russians do not have an unlimited supply of cruise missiles, they take some time to replace
so by the logic of war, that was an absurd waste,
shooting $60 million worth of precious cruise missiles at that target

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
I'm looking at the latest maps from the best OSINT sources
still nothing has changed
end of day 19, and the Russians are pretty much exactly where they were on end of day 1
again, the maps you see on the MSM are wrong,
the maps on Fox, CNN, excetera; vastly exaggerate the area controlled by the Russians
the media narrative is that the Russians are about to overrun the place and Kyiv is about to fall
but that is not actually happening, that is really just clickbait

Worst thing is you don't have an endless supply of them. Once you fire your stockpile, it takes a long time to rebuild that stock.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:36 pmmind you, that's 30 cruise missiles to take out a platoon of 35 soldiers

Ukraine says 35 dead, Russia says 180 dead, the true lies in the middle somewhere, then go X3 for casualties. Plus infrastructure and equipment destroyed.
As I said earlier, this was proving a point from Russia. And now NATO has lost operators in the fight.
So ratchet everything up a notch.

still not worth expending 30 cruise missiles on,
these were long range cruise missiles, actually strategic weapons, used to take out a rifle company

And he was challenged with that charge on Reddit.
All I know is the Brit that was interviewed back home after his trip to Ukraine said almost the exact thing.
Russians are serious, stay home.
