I read (maybe a lie) that in 2014, that city seceded from Ukraine for Russia's influence. (But since all things are lies, I don't know?)

the civilians are trapped in Mariupol, the Russians won't let them leave

nobody is fighting on the ground in Mariupol, because it is under constant artillery bombardment

I don't see any evidence that the Azov regiment is in Mariupol neither

the Russians are simply blowing the place up, I don't see any return fire coming at them

it appears that the Ukrainian military forces abandoned the city before it was encircled

it's just civilians in Mariupol now, and maybe some cops, but there are no Ukrainian troops to be seen

the Ukrainian army concept of operations has been to leave the cities and go to the countryside

the Ukrainian army is not fighting for the cities, the Ukrainian army is attacking the Russian columns

the cities are defended by the civilians left behind, and all they have are AK's

the only city which the Ukrainian army is preparing to defend right now, is Kyiv
