Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
in actual fact, the Ukrainian army is right now the 5th largest in the world
behind only China, India, America & North Korea
the Russian army is in 6th place behind the Ukrainians now

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
here's some civilian drone footage of Mariupol right now
as you can see, there are no people on the streets, there is no fighting on the ground
because the Russians are shelling it indiscriminately, Russian artillery detonations everywhere

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
From my mostly uninformed perspective, I would say Russia is making very slow, but steady progress. The Ukrainings are putting up a hell of a fight, but ultimately are at best just holding the line. The likely outcome of the war is that Russia's army will have been exposed as incompetent, while still being able to claim victory.

Do any of you think this war would have happened without American, NATO and EU promises to Ukraine? But unlike you, we know those promises are empty. Ukraine can’t win against Russia, and your cheering on this war from safety, Zelensky’s knightly risking of the lives of others who are not even his people or nation, for his own profit and image; trannies in DC pushing Ukrainian civilians and grandmothers to engage Russian tanks and get massacred for maximum outrage PR—we find all this to be unspeakably loathsome. We would take this position even if we thought the Ukrainian cause was more just than Russia’s. Many of you talk about honor, defense of homeland and many such things, and I’ll take you at your word that you believe it. But there is no war of honor here, or any war at all. The Ukrainian “army” is hardly engaging the enemy even: the strategy is that of the “white helmets” of Syria, of the Palestinians of Gaza, of the fraud of Srebernica, or of the Holocaust industry in the West; the maximum display of civilian casualties, real or fabricated, for purposes of demonizing a political enemy. It’s Saddam cannibal soldiers eating babies in incubators again, or torching “a maternity ward” out of Hunnish sadism. I can’t reach people wound up by that sexualized hysteria, but I hope to reach some of you who have preserved some level of skepticism and aren’t hyperemotional spiritual femaels.

I don't see how the Russians can take Kyiv unless the Ukrainians surrender
the Russians show no signs of being ready to go into Kyiv and fight street to street
if they can't take Kyiv and depose the government, then they can't even claim victory to their own side

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
The civilians are gone. The outskirts of the city have already been secured. The militia is waiting to engage. (I'm just repeating what I read. That may not even be Mariupol?)

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
I'll tell you another thing
the maps they show on the MSM
with big areas of the country in red, as if the Russians are in control there
those are bullshit, the Russians have not even completed their day one of war objectives yet
the media is marking on the maps areas as being taken by the Russians, which are not taken
those are areas where Russian columns drove into perhaps
but many of those columns have been completely wiped out
the Russians have taken more casualties in two weeks here than they did over a decade in Afghanistan
this is a total catastrophe so far for the Russians, and they are not making progress at all right now

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
I read (maybe a lie) that in 2014, that city seceded from Ukraine for Russia's influence. (But since all things are lies, I don't know?) The people of that city SUPPOSEDLY hate Azov. (Again, maybe propaganda? It could be aliens.)Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 5:31 pmthe civilians are not goneMartin Hash wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 5:24 pmThe civilians are gone.
