if they bombard Kyiv; that will simply be another catastrophic defeat in the information war

if they try to take Kyiv with troops; that is a potential Stalingrad on steroids,

with the information war defeat on top

Putin cannot achieve his objectives by force of arms, he has already lost the war

it's just a question of finding an off ramp which allows the Russians to claim victory

that could however be literally years away, considering the Russian capacity for self destruction
