Evergrande was $310 billion dollars, so roughly half the size of Lehman Bros

it is likely just the tip of the iceberg, so you could have the same cascading debt crisis & contagion

again tho, the Communists are allowing this to happen, because with crisis comes opportunity

most likely they will nationalize the assets of the market, just as America did with the 2008 bailout
Well, China rips off everything else we do and make.
May as well.

that is correct, the Communists don't have a plan for running markets, so they copy Wall Street

none the less, the Communist Party under Xi Jinping has been reining in the power of the Chinese corporate elites

they just took out Jack Ma the other day, they crushed Hong Kong, now they are tightening the money supply

the Communists are going to let the crisis come, in order to clip with wings of their own super wealthy elites

That's because XI Jingping is a hardcore, dyed-in-the-wool, communist.
For real.
He's not playing with these free marketers.
He wants old communist China back, and he's happy to eat Jack Ma's lunch, and the rest of "free enterprise" China's lunch as well.

but he's also a populist

Xi has risen to power by running against the Western Style "capitalists" in China

so he will benefit from a Lehman Bros style crisis, he will assert the Communist Party to be the solution to that

they are saying "this is what happens when you follow the West, now the Communists need to reassert control"

this all started a year ago when Evergrande went to the Communist Party begging for a bailout

and the Communists said no

so they clearly want the crisis to come, to unseat the private interests

they will then come in after with their massive US dollar reserves and take state control of the assets

God Emperor Xi is going after the wealthy - the merchants were starting to get too much influence.

correct, Xi said "nobody is bigger than the party"

the super wealthy are a threat to the Communists, so the Communists are going to let them fall

Started further back than that, but the people that are now paying attention to the game can point out that it started about a year ago... at least the decline.

Realistically it started a little over 10 years ago, and it didn't start with what most people are thinking about, it was what was going to happen when the baby boomers were going to leave the economy and retire. With the 1 child law still in effect, it was going to cause utter chaos because the pension would implode upon itself.

They went through reactionary measures, and we are now seeing those measures cause a cascade effect...
